Whittall Winner of U17 Your Canada Photo Contest

Robbie K, Whittall ‘19 was recently awarded first prize in the Canadian Geographic Magazine’s U17 category of the Your Canada Photo Contest. The award-winning image was taken off the east coast of Baffin Island near the community of Qikiqtarjuaq in March 2017. “Northern Transport” features an Inuit man travelling by dogsled across the sea ice. Robbie was tenting on the sea ice in -30C temperatures at the time. Robbie’s artistic talents are diverse; he is Captain of Theatre Production & Studio Assistant in Photography.
