What Bloody Deed is This?
What a way to celebrate Halloween!
On October 31 and November 1 Brentwood students attended the first blood clinic of the 2012-2013 school year. More than 17 brave souls trekked to Kerry Park Arena in Cobble Hill to attempt to donate and while a few were not accepted due to low iron or recent exotic travels, most were successful.
In January, Brentwood will host our very own clinic, serving members of the public as well as our staff, students and faculty. I urge everyone reading this to explore blood clinics in their own community – there is a major donation push occurring right now due to a blood shortage and to commemorate Remembrance Day in a tangible way.
