Western Canadian Champion
Ella D ‘23 and her BC United U15 team won the Western Canadian Championship in early July. The team went undefeated in pool play, and repelled a tough Parkland Pride U17 team from Alberta 43-35 in the finals! The team was playing up in the U16-17 division.
Ella and her teammates will also travel to Indiana and Kentucky to take part in the GUAA Session II Circuit and the Run 4 Roses Tournament.
Ella, entering Grade 9, will rejoin her Junior Girls Brentwood Basketball teammates when practices resume in September.
