Welcome to Canada 1

As the northern half of two nations sharing the world’s longest unprotected border, this weekend we welcome our American rowing cousins onto Brentwood’s lively campus. With athletes coming from all over Washington and even Oregon, we could not be more excited to host such esteemed guests.

When asked what they are most looking forward to this weekend, Grant C, Greenlake ‘24 replied “Warm weather, competitive races, and, of course, rippin’ it with the boys”. When asked the same question Amelie R, Seattle Prep ‘23 answered “Meeting new people and progressing our skills as a team to produce results”.

At Brentwood, we pride ourselves not only on our rowing reputation, but also on the ability our community has to bring people together. Warm weather, tasty food, great live music, enthusiastic volunteers, and bright smiles fill Brentwood’s campus this weekend and we are excited to see what else the weekend has in store for us. A hypnotist on Saturday night, I think!

Warmest welcomes to our American friends, and a huge thank you for making the journey to our quaint, waterfront campus here on Vancouver Island to participate in Brentwood’s 51st Annual International Rowing Regatta.
