Weekend Vic Trips

Living at school 24/7 can get tiring, so what’s better than a day to go shopping with your friends? Every year, during the third weekend at school, Brentwood organizes  a trip to Victoria for a day as a way to treat us to some fun away from campus life. You can go to all your favourite stores, or if you’re an international student, visit some places you’ve never seen before. For a lot of people, getting to explore this unknown city is a new and exciting experience. Some students choose to hang out at the mall, go to the food court, and all the cool stores, such as the endless clothes stores and candy shops, while others choose to go to the Uptown part of Victoria, which is a shopping block near the mall. With all of the endless restaurants and cafes, there’s no way you won’t find something to do. International student Sumin K, said that “Victoria was a really fun trip, with great weather and friends.” Going to Victoria can be a nice getaway from the rush and busyness of school. Whether you end up spending lots of money or none at all, the Vic trip is always a great way to get to know your new friends a lot better, and to hang out in a unique environment by exploring the city and all of it’s hidden corners.
