Wake Up Flawless

On Thursday September 25th, Brentwood students attended a presentation entitled “Love The Skin You’re In”. The girls attended the first half of prep running from 7 o’clock to 8:30 and the boys attended the latter half of prep.  The presentation was inspiring and uplifting for all attendees. The positive atmosphere that Lindsay Brie Mathers brought to our school encouraged all students to love themselves and the skin they are in.  SPARC Captain, Andrea DJ, Mack ’15, challenged all of Brentwood to do an “I woke up like this” challenge the following day in which makeup and miscellaneous beauty products were put to rest. This challenge was fully embraced and shifted the focus from appearances to what is underneath. Thank you to Mrs. Felix and all of SPARC for their contributions to this presentation.
