Volleyball: Senior Girls win North Island finals.

The Senior Girls volleyball team won the North Island championships without conceding a game yesterday in Ladysmith, defeating Gulf Islands 25-21, 25-12; Shawnigan lake School 25-19, 26-24; and Ladysmith 25-17, 25-18.  In their final match, the team played undefeated island rivals Woodlands from Nanaimo.  The girls played a superb match and rolled over the opposition 25-18, 25-16.  Indre Semogas quarterbacked an outstanding offence throughout the tournament.  Sara Jackson was solid in the backcourt, executing some brilliant digs.  Shelby Michaels, Abby Neufeld and Alexa Molnar led the offence.  The girls now advance to the Island Championships November 14th/15th at St. Michaels University School in Victoria.
