For a third consecutive year, the Senior Girls volleyball team brought home gold from the Island Championships.  Round-robin play saw the team defeat John Barsby and Shawnigan Lake School.  In the best-of-5 semi-final, Brentwood easily defeated St. Michaels University School: 25-7, 25-22, 25-14.  The much anticipated final had Brentwood (the #1 ranked team in the province) and Woodlands (#2) face off.  Brentwood came out firing on all cylinders and won the match in 3 straight games 25-19, 25-12, 26-24.   Tessa Felix and Mariya Young were named to the all tournament team and Megan Jackson was named the tournament's MVP.  The team is now preparing for the provincial championships to be held Nov 29 - Dec 1 at Archbishop Carney in Port Coquitlam.
