The Senior Girls volleyball team is home after a whirlwind week in Prince George at the Provincial Championships.  The team had a slow start, losing their first match of pool play to a suprisingly strong and inaccurately ranked Fraser Valley Christian 25-21, 25-22, but then defeated Mt. Elizabeth 25-12, 25-15 in the second match.  In the final pool play match, the opposition was #4-ranked Westsyde where the team lost a heartbreaker 21-25, 25-19 and 13-15.  In the first round of the playoffs, Brentwood met #1-ranked (and eventual tournament champion) St. Patricks where the girls played their best match of the season, pushing St. Pat's to five games but eventually losing in the fifth set.  The final two matches saw wins over Correlieu and Fernie and thus a 10th place final position.  The young Brentwood team learned a great deal about themselves during the tournament and they will be a very exciting team to watch in the future.
