Victory on Salt Spring
Salt Spring Island always demands the best from soccer teams and the Brentwood senior girls answered the call yesterday afternoon. Having to travel to Salt Spring for a play down game, the team all raised their game a little and, collectively, they achieved a lot.
Although the score was tied 1-1 at the half, BCS had carried the play, and that trend continued in the second half with a flurry of goals that ultimately left us with a 5-2 victory. Phoebe B and Kate P potted a brace each and Georgia L added a single.
One more play down game is scheduled for this Thursday before four games this Friday and Saturday, May 6th and 7th, at the ISA tournament at SMUS in Victoria. North Island Playoffs quickly follow on Monday, May 9th and Tuesday, May 10th in the Comox Valley.
