Four of Brentwood’s fastest, highest, and strongest athletes tested their mettle again the best that British Columbia has to offer at the Provincial Track and Field Championships in Langley on the weekend. Siôn G hurled his way to a Silver medal in the Junior Boys javelin while Kabir B bounded to a bronze medal in the Senior Boys 400m hurdles. Keiran MH was no flop as he Fosburied his way to Gold medal in Junior Boys high jump. Meanwhile, on the beach, Taylor C and Rachel J bumped, set, and spiked their way to a bronze medal at the High School Beach Doubles Volleyball Championships. Rachel, a young woman with lots of energy, also placed 4th in the Senior Girls long jump at the Provincial Track Championships.
