Tize and Howard to race in finals at the World Rowing Championships

Both Jan Tize (Class of 2004) and Malcolm Howard (Class of 2001) will be racing in the finals at the World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland this weekend. Jan, an Under 23 World Champion in 2007, is racing on his first senior team in the coxed pair event. Third in his heat and then third in the reps, was good enough to place his crew in the final this Saturday. Malcolm, our Olympic gold medalist from last summer, is rowing in the middle of the Canadian men's eight. They won their heat and moved directly to the finals on Sunday.
