Theatre Pro Plows On

On Wednesday September 30th, a group of students led by Mr. Armitage headed down into Victoria to see “Speed-the-Plow”, a play written by David Mamet. The play features a small cast of three people and it used only two settings. The actors were unbelievable; there were so many lines for three people to memorize and they did a perfect job.  After the play we got the opportunity to meet with the play’s stage manager, assistant stage manager (an intern), and the man who worked the lights. We have a short but sweet conversation about a wide variety of stage setup and procedure-related questions.  It was an awesome trip. Thomas DF, #8 on the pitch; #1 in your hearts, Whittall ‘16
