The Road Goes Ever On

25 October 2012
The 2012-2013 academic year is off to a brilliant start. The largest student population in our history has enjoyed tremendous weather and a strong beginning to the year.  Now, as the autumn leaves begin to fall and the cooler air gives notice that another school year is well under way, it is time to ‘hit the road’.  Fall is a heavy recruitment time for Admissions Directors.  We travel far and wide to spread the word about our schools. This year Brentwood has already been to Germany, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and California.  My Associate Harold Backer, Deputy Head John Allpress and I will continue to travel far and wide to ensure that our school is full of a diverse student population.  One of the things that differentiates Brentwood is the diversity of our international population.  We are from 6 continents and over 20 countries.  Getting out on the road allows us to continue to be diverse.  Brentwood is a very popular school and the more people that learn about us, the faster the word spreads about this oceanfront gem. Last year I spent about 2 months travelling on behalf of the school.  It never ceases to amaze me how enthralled people are to learn about our unique school.  One thing that becomes very apparent to me during my travels is that there are not many schools like ours.  In fact, I would dare to say, none can compare to this amazing place. If you are interested in where we will be going this term, please click here.  Hopefully we will meet some of you during our travels.  If you want to learn more about Brentwood, come visit us in person or contact our Admissions Office (admissions@brentwood.bc.ca); we would love to hear from you.
