The Learning Curve

This past weekend the First XI Field Hockey team had their first tournament together. After only two practices as a team, there were some nerves about how this tournament was going to go. It was broken into three tiers: premium, competitive, and development. Brentwood participated in the competitive category playing Isfeld, GNS, SMUS, & Mt. Doug. Even in the scorching heat, the girls gave it their all every game. These games were not about coming away with first place, it was about learning to play as a team and figuring what we need to work on for ISAs this coming weekend at Crofton House School in Vancouver.
