This past weekend the Senior Boys Soccer team traveled to Victoria to compete in the ISA tournament. After only one week of training, the team managed to beat West Point Grey in an intense penalty shoot out. With a great save from Juan NP, Whittall ‘20, the final score was 5-4.

Later that day we played Collingwood and pulled off a 2-1 victory with the winning goal from Will N, Ellis’ 18. After the game the player gave a interview saying “I didn’t know the ball went in.’’ Where there’s a Will, there’s a way!

On Saturday the squad defeated GNS by a impresses score of 7-0. In the final we lost to AAA St. George's, but we brought home the silver medal. “I think we played with good pace and as team, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially on finishing our chances’’ observed our rookie goalkeeper.

The team is very excited for the season and are going to work hard to reach our goal of the provincials championships.
