With Term 2 sports commencing this week, the girl’s competitive volleyball season comes to an end. Well, almost.

The Junior A Girls competed in the Island Championship last weekend, where they faced some serious competition. The troops started the tournament playing against the host team, Dover Bay. They then went on to play second-place winner SMUS, where they lost an exciting three-set game. The girls also played Port Alberni and beat Cowichan SS in their last match finishing their season 11th on the Island!

The Junior B Girls and the Development teams hosted a tournament on Thursday and showed what the Brentwood Volleyball program is all about! All four of our teams showed exceptional competition throughout the day, and a special congratulations to the squad, photo above, that came 1st in the whole tournament!

Our Senior team competed in the Island Championship this weekend on their home court. The team showed their strength throughout the tournament earning their place in the Finals. The girls then proved their resilient effort against PCS but came short of the gold medal, bringing home the silver and qualifying for Provincials in Vernon. Good luck to the girls who are off to Provincials next week to face the best in the province!

Many thanks to all the amazing coaching staff that made this season so successful!
