Take Me to Your (Section) Leader

Congratulations to Mrs. Rebecca Day-Reynolds who was recently appointed a Section Leader by the BC Ministry of Education. Mrs. Day-Reynolds, a member of the English department and skilled marker of Provincial Exams, will now lead teams of experienced English teachers as they mark tens of thousands of these assessments each year. Each spring, our Grade 10s, 11s, and 12s write BC Ministry of Education Provincial Exams in Math, Science, Social Studies and English. The marking of these exams is done by veteran teachers who have been trained and certified by the Ministry to assess uniform standards. Over the years, six members of the English department have enjoyed this privilege. Mrs. Day-Reynolds now joins English Department Head, Mr. Paul Collis among the pantheon of Section Leaders.
