Students Applying for Dogwood Scholarships

Every year, the British Columbia government funds $1000 scholarships called the Dogwood District Scholarships. All Canadian citizens and permanent residents in Grade 12 are eligible to apply. Excellence in the following co-curricular areas is the main criterion for the award: Fine Arts (Visual Arts, Dance, Drama, Music), Applied Skills (Business Education, Technology Education, Information Communication Technology, Home Economics),  Physical Activity (not limited to Physical Education), or Second Languages (including Aboriginal Languages). Each year we have several successful candidates in the arts, sports, and leadership categories. Brentwood students who are interested in applying are asked to contact Dave McCarthy, Head of Academics (mccarthd@brentwood.bc.ca). The application deadline is Friday, April 9th.
