Sports Review

Welcome back Brentwood family and friends! It is early days but we are looking forward to another active and exciting year in Brentwood Athletics. It has been a busy start to the year and our students appear keen and eager to engage in their sports. It was, once again, a real joy to walk around campus on our first full afternoon of sport. The fields, gym, weight-rooms, tennis courts, and waterfront were alive with activity.

While there are a variety of athletic options, we strongly encourage everyone to try and engage in team sports; there is no better way to get to know your peers than to work with them in practice and then compete together in games. These shared experiences bring our kids that much closer and create memories that last a lifetime.

In our first term, it is the competitive season for:

  • Grade 9 Boys Rugby
  • Senior Boys Soccer
  • Junior Boys Soccer
  • Senior Girls Volleyball
  • Junior Girls Volleyball
  • Senior Girls Field Hockey
  • Junior Girls Field Hockey

Our kids usually love playing on these teams; the coaching they receive is first rate and it all starts with the underlying belief that young athletes need to have fun! If these sports are not for your child, we still offer a variety of other competitive and non-competitive options and we are confident our students will find a healthy and challenging level of physical activity. We are all looking forward to an exciting and productive year.
