The senior boys soccer squad hosted two matches against Shawnigan Lake School on Saturday and honours ended even. The 'A' team played well, but were short a few of the regular players and eventually conceded a loss of 2-4. The sides were deadlocked at the half; a goal from Paul Bosco set up by Adam Sharpe, and a second strike delivered by Eric Skoretz from a pass by Jaemok Lee were both nicely executed. but a short lapse of concentration early in the second forty-five allowed the game to get away.
The 'B' team, bolstered by a few rugby players to assist a short-handed team, were enough to earn a close 2-1 win. Desmond Kong tallied his first of the season and Paul Bosco supplied the winner. Dillon Horth saved a critical penalty shot. The team concludes the regular season with a home game against Wellington on Tuesday (28th October).
