Soccer: Junior Girls finish strongly

The Junior Girls finished their competitive season on a strong note with a decisive 6-0 home win over Saltspring Island Middle School. The team's most prolific scorer this year, Kate P, again led the way with a hat-trick with single contributions coming from Marta B, Tessa M, and Emily R. Some great wing play and crosses from Shelby M led to many of the scoring chances. Ane G recorded the shutout.  The team had a very sucessful season with a tied game earlier in the league play against Shawnigan Lake School being the deciding factor that led to Brentwood's second place finish just behind the eventual league winners Saltspring Island Secondary.  The Junior team took the title in 2008 and will focus its energies on winning back the league title in 2010.
