Soccer: Junior Girls find their scoring touch.

After an exciting 6-2 win over league leaders Saltspring earlier in the week, the Junior Girls continued to find the opposition net with a 7-0 victory over Shawnigan Lake School. Again, the scoring came from a variety of players with Kate Philippson and Erica Mayer chipping in for two goals apiece and singles being added by Mairead McCormack, Kimberley Chan, and Mairi Horth. Ane Garay Olazabal recorded the shutout. After losing the first game of the season, the team has taken on a decidedly more determined approach that has produced increased confidence and more creative play, all of which has seen a dramatic effectiveness on the field.
