Setting Their Way to Second
On Saturday, November 14, the Junior B Girls Volleyball team headed to Duncan Christian School for a fun round-robin tournament. We were off to an outstanding start with our first match by winning the second set over DCS White. That boost of confidence was all we needed to go onto our next game as we won both sets, then moved on to three more 2-0 wins!
In the finals against DCS Junior Blue, it was a tight game. Playing our hardest, the girls produced a win in the first round by an extremely tight score.
In the second round, we had a lead over the opponents, but DCS Blue slowly started catching up, which, sadly, ended in a loss by a score of 25-20. But we still pulled out a second place win in the tournament.
The girls played some great volleyball and had a blast doing so! Coaches Sarah Hall & Andrea Dougan are very proud with how the girls played and how much we’ve improved our game over the season.
Way to go Brentwood!
