The Senior Girls’ Soccer team travelled to Campbell River to play in a tournament this past weekend that included many of the top high school teams on the Island. The girls played some exciting soccer that saw them in four games over the two days. The weather was perfect and the playing fields in excellent condition.

Recording two wins and two losses, the team tallied 12 goals while conceding seven. The BCS coaches were impressed with the work effort and the attacking style of play that we were showing. While all players showed very well, special mention goes to Emily Y who came up from the juniors to help as a midfielder and goalie. As well, team captain Kate P was awarded the BCS MVP for the tournament.

Brentwood next hosts Ladysmith in league play on Tuesday, April 12th.
