Senior Soccer Scintillates

A fierce starting 11, supplemented by an array of multi-talented subs, the Brentwood Senior Boys Soccer team is looking stronger than ever. Silver at ISAs, 7-1 against Salt Spring, 8-1 against Kesley, 4-0 against Shawnigan, and a 3-2 exhibition win over a U21 men’s team -- the positive results continue to pile up like shoes at the door of a Brentwood residence.   Having already secured the Mid-Island league title, the boys are on the hunt for another big victory against Kwalikum in Thursday’s Showcase game. The winner of the game will go into North Islands as the #1 seed. Last year, Brentwood overcame Kwalikum 2-1 in a game filled to the brim with intensity and skill. This year, the Senior Boys are hoping to continue their scintillating form with the addition of another big win in front of a boisterous home crowd. Come on out - tickets are still available. A win here would put us in good standing for North Islands - and another step closer to a berth at the provincial championships.   Oliver B, Centre Back, Whittall ‘18
