Senior Soccer Playoff Bound

The Senior Boys Soccer team travelled to Parksville on Thursday to take on Ballenas for seeding positions in the upcoming North Island Playoffs. Befitting a playoff game, there was elevated intensity and passion on the field with both teams playing a man short in the second half. BCS remained focused, however, and a good effort saw out a 3-2 win with Phil M netting two (the first from a Toby C setup, the second on a nice pass from Ibrahim S). Toby C also scored a fine goal. The team heads to the North Islands to be held at Merle Logan Field in Nanaimo on Oct 29 (games at 9:30 & 1:30) and on Oct 30 (games at 10:30 & 2 or 3:30). Mr. Gord Horth, Coach
