Senior Soccer Girls Secure Road Win

The Brentwood Senior Soccer team went to Kwalicum Secondary School on Thursday for the first game in a play down round that determines ranking for the North Island playoffs, and came away with the victory. The lone goal from Mairead M in the first half was, in combination with a Spenser M shutout, enough to give the travelling team the win. Phoebe B set the tone with some determined ball challenges. Brentwood also created more chances than Kwalicum, but the home keeper was sharp and denied us on a number of occasions. Brentwood goes on the road again May 3 to Salt Spring for the next play down match.
