The countdown to Brentwood Regatta 2018 started 360 days ago, the day after last year’s Brentwood Regatta ended. Almost a year has now passed and the time is almost here for the Senior Boys to prove themselves once again on their home course. After many intense early morning rows, followed by afternoon practices, the Senior Men’s 8+ and 4+ are ready to go. Racing in two different 8+ races (Club and High School) the Varsity 8+ is ready to go head to head with other schools from the Island, BC, and the USA. This year’s 8+ has coxswain Emma H, Allard ‘18, Axel E, Rogers ‘19, Jacob P, Whittall ‘18, Benett L, Privett ‘18, Riley T, Rogers ‘18, Logan P, Ellis ‘18, Liam C, Rogers ‘18, Oliver W, Privett ‘18, and Jamal H, Whittel ‘18. This is the 48th annual Brentwood regatta and with impressive results last year, this years Senior Men's group is hopeful to match or exceed last year's results and expectations. The 4+ has Emma, Benett, Riley T, Logan P & Jacob P.  Each of these athletes have been working on their own individual goals as well as a crew goals. With the picture perfect waterfront to practice on and incredible coaches to work with, the Brentwood boys are extremely enthusiastic about the races this weekend. This year’s men’s Boathouse Captain is Logan P, Ellis ‘18 and he says, “We are hopeful for good weather, good results, and flat water for the 2018 Brentwood Regatta.” The crew looks forward to wearing their Brentwood racing unisuit with pride and joy while putting their grit to the test.
