Senior Girls soccer team win League opener
The Senior Girls soccer team looked strong today in a decisive 4-2 victory over Ladysmith, the home opener and first league game for the girls. The first of Megan Jackson's two goals came at the 12-minute mark on a beautiful cross from Mariya Young. Mariya Young and Tessa Skoretz rounded out the scoring. Stefanie Steinbrink Kelly made two beautiful saves late in the second half to insure the victory. The team's next game is Thursday at Wellington in Nanaimo.
