Senior Girls Rugby: 2nd XV debut!

On Tuesday, the 2nd XV took the field in a match with Shawnigan Lake School, the first time the girls program has fielded a second team. The game was played with a great deal of energy and resolve and quite a bit of skill, too. Danielle Touche scored Brentwood's only try, converted by Crystal Lockhart. Geneva Gersten and Mie Maxwell-Smith led the attack with Olivia Rakhit and Marina Johnson setting the tone on defence. In the end, Shawnigan's experience carried the day 15-7, but the girls can be very proud of their competitive spirit. A rematch is set for Brentwood in two week's time.
