Senior Girls Basketball: a win in the season opener

The Senior Girls defeated Cowichan High School 41-34 yesterday in their first (exhibition) game of the season — an exciting start and a great team effort. The combination of Charlotte's aggressive defence, Whitney (top scorer with 15 pts) and Siobhan's (13 pts) efforts in the post, solid play, leadership from Mira (9 pts), and energy coming off the bench, show that this year's team has the potential for a very successful season.
