Senior Boys Basketball Bronze

The team was fortunate to play a full season for the first time in almost two years. With excited energy - but little experience - we were ready to get conditioned in the first term for the season ahead. No one knew what to expect, but we were ready for the journey.

The first scrimmage of the season against Belmont was rusty, but after studying the game film we improved greatly to start the season with a winning streak. After a fantastic regular season, we competed in the Islands & earned second place to gain a provincial berth.

After convincing wins against Hugh Boyd & Pacific Academy, we were pitted against Lambrick Park. We played our hearts out & left everything on the floor but came up short. But in the bronze medal game - the Grade 12s last game ever in a Brentwood jersey - we came out with a commanding win & a bronze medal to bring home to the school. Awards from the tournament included a first-team all-star selection (Dylan Gage ‘23) & second-team all-star selection (Buchannon Fritz ‘22) & recognition as the Most Sportsmanlike Team.
