Senior Boys Basketball: Brentwood secures first place in league play

Led by a career best 17-point effort from Seb Kolmetz and stellar defensive play from Jason Kim, Brentwood defeated Gulf Islands Senior Secondary School in a key mid-island league game on Tuesday night. The win avenged an early season one-point loss to GISS. Brentwood continues to rely on a stingy defensive scheme that creates plenty of turnovers. An emerging transition game has led to good scoring opportunities for the team.
Brentwood's next game will be part of the prestigious Victoria Police Invitational tournament starting tomorrow, Thursday.
