Senior Boys Basketball: Brentwood maintains #5 provincial ranking

Although less than satisfied with their overall play, Brentwood's Senior Boys basketball team has nonetheless maintained their #5 AA provincial ranking going into the Christmas break. A powerful defensive performance against Shawnigan last Tuesday was preceded by two come-from-behind wins against AAA teams Mt. Douglas High School and Claremont High School, during the "Welcome Back Tournament" hosted by Cowichan High School. A well earned break over the Christmas holidays will give the players a chance to recharge their energy reserves and maintain their fitness in preparation for the intense and highly competitve league schedule in January and February. The players return to the campus on January 5th for a mini-camp, with league play starting January 9th.
