After an exciting win over local rival Gulf Islands last week, the Senior Boys Basketball team traveled to Vancouver on Thursday to compete in the Archbishop Carney Tournament. Brentwood played Sahali to start the tournament. Even though the boys played better in the second half of the game, we could not turn the it around. After this tough loss on Thursday night, our match on Saturday resulted in a win, 60-54, against John Oliver. This led to a battle for 4th and 6th place. Our last game against St. Pats was long. With injuries of Matt G and Kadon R, we were exhausted. The team finished the weekend in 6th place. During the tournament Harrison B, Skyler R, and Devin C received MVP game awards and Aidan C got honorable mention from the coaches. The team will learn from their mistakes and prepare for the Police Tournament starting this Friday in Victoria. Frank Z, Privett ‘14
