Sean Ferguson Selected for National Senior Men's Rugby 7s team

Brentwood alumnus Sean Ferguson (2007) has been selected for the National Senior Men's Rugby 7s team. Sean was invited to a selection camp held at UVic in early December with over thirty players competing for twelve spots on the team. 7s is a rugby game played with 7 players per team for 2 halves of 7 minutes. It has been recently named as an Olympic sport for 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sean will be playing in a tournament in Uruguay in the city of Mara del Plata. Sean played for Brentwood when we won our provincial championship in 2007--he is a very fast and elusive runner with excellent passing and kicking skills. He has become a tremendous tackler and currently plays for UBC's First XV along with Nick Philippson (2009) and his brother Will (2006).
