At 5:00 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, the Brentwood Rowing Club's largest contingent ever departs for the Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Championships. In what was supposed to be a building year, the club is sending 28 junior and 23 senior athletes to compete in 20 of the 36 events offered at the regatta. The team will be flying to Hamilton, Ontario where they will pick up transport and proceed to St. Catharines where the championships are being staged. The team will have two days to acclimatise to the course and time change before racing starts early on the Friday morning. There are a number of parents who will be making the trip to support the team as well as Director of Admissions Mr. Clayton Johnston who will be making the trip representing the school. The finals will be on Sunday where, hopefully, many of our athletes will appear on the podium. You can follow the progress of the team on the CSSRA website http://www.cssrarowing.ca/  The team will be returning to the school Monday afternoon with, hopefully, many medals around their necks!
