Results from Canada Summer Games

The first day of finals for rowing are in the books at the Canada Summer Games. Riley McCrossan (Class of 2010) who was racing for Team Alberta won a bronze medal in the Lightweight Mens Straight Four. Eric Jackson (Class of 2010) won a silver medal in the Mens Straight Quad. Racing from the front, Noah O'Connell (Class of 2007) and teammate Spencer Crowley (Class of 2007) won the Gold medal in the Mens Straight Pair. All four will be racing tomorrow. Riley will be rowing in bow seat of the Team Alberta's Eight and Spencer, Noah, and Eric will team up in the Straight Four and Eight. In the semi finals for Mens Rugby, Team BC thumped Alberta 70-0 and will play Ontario in the Gold Medal game. Old Brentonians Nick Philippson (Class of 2009) and Will Hindson (Class of 2009) play on Team BC.
