Rachel J Earns Top Honours

At the recent Nanaimo Track and Field Club awards night Rachel J, received Top Female Field Athlete of the club and Top Female in the Midget age group.  Rachel has also earned the BC Athletics top female long jump award. She competed at Nationals in the long jump where she won Silver and her 4 x 100m relay team got the Gold medal and set the Canadian record for their age group!  In two years Rachel hopes to be trying out for Team Canada to go to the World Youth Championships in Colombia. Congratulations Rachel!
