Quinn Erickson Advances at Canadian National Rowing Championships

Quinn Erickson (Grade 11) is currently competing at the Canadian National Rowing Championships in Welland Ontario. She raced twice on Thursday, placing 6th in the junior women's single and 2nd in the junior women's pair. Quinn will be racing in the semi-finals for the single today and the 'A' final in the pair on Saturday. Quinn's short term goal is to win a National Championship — her long term goal, however, is to row for the junior national team and race at the Junior World Rowing Championships.  She is in good company, as there are numerous Old Brentonians racing as part of their university teams and six of them competing for spots on the 2008 Olympic team.
