Pyjamas for Peru
On Friday, January 25, Brentwood’s Student Activities Committee hosted a Pyjama Day in support of two Peruvian students, Elizabeth and Elmercito, who we assist through a charitable organization called MOSQOY.
Through MOSQOY, the SAC has been able to provide the two students with ongoing funds that have allowed them to attend the Peruvian Technical College. Elizabeth and Elmercito are currently in their 5th semester at the college, and will be graduating at the end of this year after 3 years of post-secondary education.
The two hope to bring their newfound knowledge and skills back to their communities as well as find work when they return home. The funds from the day will carry them through the last leg of their studies.
