Every year the advanced potters in the ceramics program put on a musical-themed pottery show that will be displayed in the foyer of the Bunch Centre for Performing Arts during the run of the musical. This year’s musical is Mary Poppins which opens a variety of themes and art designs that the potters can play with and have artistic freedom over. This includes things like sugar jars, umbrellas, teapots, penguins, and classic British designs that would be familiar to those who have seen the movie or musical. Not only is this a chance for the advanced potters to have fun with different designs and themes, but also a chance to showcase their amazing talent to the Brentwood and Mill Bay communities. Advanced potters are in their second or third year in the program and have a larger grasp of advanced wheel techniques. From March 1st-4th come and see the advanced potters’ hard work and creativity displayed in the Bunch! Gina B, Mackenzie ‘17
