Positive Start to Basketball Season

The Brentwood Junior Boys basketball team began their season on November 27th - 28th in a four team tournament at Cedar Secondary School. The boys proved that they will be a team to watch this year as they came away with three victories. They were led offensively by David L who averaged 27 points per game for the tournament. Brentwood also received solid contributions from Alex P, Chris W, and Martin B who averaged over ten rebounds per game. The final scores were: Brentwood: 72 - Cedar: 45; Brentwood: 60 - Wellington: 36; Brentwood: 60 - Ballenas: 53. The boys will be in action this coming weekend at the Victoria Tip-Off Tournament with one game Friday night and two games on Saturday.
