Pat Steinbrink-Kelly

As many of you are no doubt aware, this month has been touched with grief both here on campus and amongst the Brentwood diaspora. It was with great sadness that we received the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Mrs. Patricia Steinbrink-Kelly. Pat succumbed to cancer during the early morning hours of January 7th after battling the disease throughout the fall. For 27 years since her arrival on campus in 1987, Pat was an integral part of the school faculty. She was as a language teacher and Head of the Modern Languages Department, coach of both Senior Girls and Senior Boys rowing, wining national championships with each, and longtime Assistant Houseparent in Whittall. Pat will be remembered as a loving mother and wife, thoughtful and committed colleague, mentor, and a valued friend. Pat is survived by her husband Kurt Kelly and daughter Steffi, Alex '08.
