On the Beach
This past weekend four Brentwood teams entered the 7th annual BC High School Beach Doubles Tournament in Parksville. They battled high winds, as well as sand and sun, but all did remarkably well!
Hannah C and Emma DP paired up to participate in the junior division and made it to the consolation final. A far too quick game to 25 points determined the winner with Hannah and Emma placing second in their first beach doubles competition.
Michelle M and Emily Y, Kendra S and Tessa M, as well as Emily H and Alia V paired up to play in the senior division. All of the teams played well. Kendra and Tessa lost a close match in the quarterfinals and placed 5th. Michelle and Emily Y came second in the consolation final - way to go girls! Alia and Emily H had some hard-fought games and came out smiling!!
It was another great day for BCS volleyball.
