Olympic Update
Connor Grimes (Class of 2001) and the Canadian field hockey team fought valiantly, but lost 6-1 to the defending Australian Olympic and World Champions. Connor started the game up front and made some spectacular runs in attack. His next game is against Pakistan on Wednesday at 3:00 a.m. PST.
Malcolm Howard (Class of 2001) and the Canadian Men's Eight easily won their heat this morning and advance directly to the Gold medal final on Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. PST. There will be many from all over Canada watching the race. Scott Frandsen (Class of 1998) and Dave Calder (Class of 1996) race in the semi-finals on Wednesday morning at 1:30 a.m. PST. The top three from each semi-final will advance to the final to be held 1:30 am PST on Saturday morning. GO CANADA GO!!
