Against the backdrop of a bright winter day, a spectacularly attired array of murder suspects circulated warily through the multipurpose rooms of the Foote Centre, questioning one another as they sipped cranberry ginger ale.

A series of clues and mysterious objects were hidden throughout the two rooms in which the crowd circulated. A group of servers known only as “Waiter Gang” poured the guests’ beverages, but not without informing them of their strict and grisly policy: “You spill, we kill.”

The guests took photos together, made small talk, and were eerily outgoing. A list of hints was handed out. The hints were ambiguous, and a lot of trial and error was made in regards to figuring out which hints linked to which guests. Whoever didn’t have a hint that linked to themselves on the list was the supposed murderer. Each guest asked each other a series of seemingly harmless questions, which were secretly asked only in an attempt to figure out who the murderer was.

Clues around the room and objects with devastating abilities were found, but, alas, time had run out. The identity of the murderer was revealed: it was former President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Only three guests had correctly identified the murderer. But only the one who handed in a paper with their answer first would win the prize. That person happened to be Paolo of Waiter Gang, who was awarded the first place medal, along with a signed photograph of T.C.H. with the answers to the June Jamboree on the back.

As for the objects with mysterious powers, well, they were used, but to no avail, as the guests that suffered the consequences of these objects had not correctly identified the murderer.

All in all, Waiter Gang secured a big win on that fine winter’s day - and it was the first of many victories to come.
