Midterm Break's Afoot

Midterm Break features five school trips that have more than 80 students hopping with energy over the holiday. Three of our basketball teams (Jr Girls, Jr Boys and Sr Boys) are participating in playoff tournaments with Ms Napier, Mr Sullivan and Mr Gage at the helm.  Further afield, 14 science students are with Mr Doehler and Ms Lawrence on a service trip to Belize and Mr Lee, 47 students, and three other chaperones are enjoying the winter wonderland of Big White in BC’s interior. Enjoy the break, everyone. And get some rest. The 15 days between Midterm and March break will bring more Provincial Basketball playoffs (fingers crossed) 6 performances of West Side Story, Careers Day, the start of the Third Term sports, the Elk Lake Regatta, and, no doubt, some summative assessments as teachers must submit marks and reports before they - or you - get to begin their March Break.
