Melhuish Interpretive Reading

The English department’s second term competition this year was the Melhuish Interpretive Reading Contest. Students from grades 9 to 12 were required to select a passage from a work of fiction and, in the finest tradition of reading aloud, entertain their audience with its delivery. Jaylynn B, Allard 19, won in Grade 11 and treated the school to some of David Sedaris’ humour last Thursday at Assembly. Below is a link to Jaylynn’s sterling performance.
